Omaha, Neb. - The Providence College women's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie at Creighton in its BIG EAST conference opener in Omaha, Neb. on Saturday, Sept. 26. Providence and Creighton both open conference play at 0-0-1, while the Friars move to 2-1-7 overall and the Bluejays to 4-3-2.

GAME FLOW & NOTES

This game marked goalkeeper Caitlin Daley's (Norwich, Conn.) first career start for the Friars and the first game a goalkeeper has played the full 90 minutes.
In Providence's 10 matches this season they have started at least three freshmen every game.
Jocy Koffi (Abidjan, Ivory Coast) struck first for the Friars in the 25^th minute (24:42) to put them up 1-0. Koffi was assisted by Stephanie Schoeley (Thedford, Ontario) where she then sent it bottom right of the goal.
