PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men's lacrosse player
Cam Sterritt (Brampton, Ont.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the third time this season on Monday, March 2.
Sterritt recorded 12 saves on a .600 save percentage in the Friars' loss (8-7) to Fairfield on Saturday, Feb. 28. The Sophomore goalie has started all five games for Providence this season and registered 70 saves on a .598 save percentage with only 9.35 goals allowed per game. Sterritt leads the BIG EAST in saves per game (14.00) and ranks second in save percentage (.598) and goals against average (9.35). He has recorded a .600 save percentage or better in three out of the Friars' five games.
WHAT'S NEXT... Providence College returns to action on Saturday, March 7, against Loyola (Md.). The game will be played in Baltimore, Md. at Noon and will be streamed on ESPN+.
