PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College volleyball team is on the road for two BIG EAST matches this weekend. The Friars will play Georgetown on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6:00 p.m. in Washington, D.C. Providence will face Seton Hall on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 5:00 p.m. in South Orange, N.J.

SCOUTING THE FRIARS… The Friars enter the weekend with a 7-16 record and are 0-12 in the BIG EAST. Most recently, the Friars were defeated by UConn (3-1) and Butler (3-0).
Shaliyah Rhoden (Rowlett, Texas) leads the Friars' offense with 218 kills.
Kayla Grant (Rowlett Texas) leads Providence with 67 blocks and has recorded 145 kills and 15 aces. Grant has a .336 hitting percentage, which ranks seventh in the BIG EAST.
Taylor Macy (Rowlett, Texas) has tallied 114 kills, 190 digs and 16 aces.
Miller McDonald (Dallas, Texas) leads the Friars with 497 assists.
SCOUTING GEORGETOWN… The Hoyas enter the weekend with a 9-15 record and are 5-7 in the BIG EAST. Most recently, Georgetown defeated DePaul (3-2) and fell to Xavier (3-1).
Senior Karis Park leads the Hoyas with 467 digs. She averages 3.79 digs per set, which ranks fifth in the BIG EAST.
Senior Mary Grace Goyena has recorded a team-high 361 kills. She has also tallied 236 digs, 34 blocks and 27 aces.
Graduate student Peyton Wilhite has notched 349 kills, 296 digs and 90 blocks for Georgetown.
