Volleyball Set To Host Xavier and DePaul

The Friars face Xavier on Friday, November 15 at 5:00 p.m.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College volleyball team is home this week for two BIG EAST matches at Alumni Hall in Providence, R.I. The Friars will play Xavier on Friday, Nov. 15 at 5:00 p.m. Providence will face DePaul on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 3:00 p.m. Saturday's match will serve as the program's annual senior day. A pre-game ceremony will be held to honor five players and two team managers.

SCOUTING THE FRIARS… The Friars enter the weekend with a 7-18 record and are 0-14 in the BIG EAST. Most recently, the Friars were defeated by Georgetown (3-0) and Seton Hall (3-0).
Shaliyah Rhoden (Rowlett, Texas) leads the Friars' offense with 258 kills.
Kayla Grant (Rowlett Texas) leads Providence with 91 blocks and has recorded 178 kills and 20 aces.
Macy Taylor (Rowlett, Texas) has tallied 155 kills, 216 blocks and 24 aces.
Miller McDonald (Dallas, Texas) leads the Friars with 595 assists.
SCOUTING XAVIER… The Musketeers enter the weekend with a 9-15 record and are 7-7 in the BIG EAST. Most recently, Xavier was defeated by Villanova (3-1) and St. John's (3-0).
Redshirt freshman Margo Kemp is third in the BIG EAST, with a .363 hitting percentage. She has recorded 213 kills, 72 blocks and 14 aces.
Senior Logan Flaugh has recorded 942 assists and 210 digs. She is second in the BIG EAST, averaging 10.58 assists per set.
Redshirt junior Emma Grace has recorded 257 kills, 289 digs, 30 blocks and 23 aces.
SCOUTING DEPAUL… The Blue Demons enter the weekend with a 17-9 record and are 9-5 in the BIG EAST. Most recently, DePaul defeated Villanova (3-2) and lost to St. John's (3-1).
Graduate student Rachel Krasowski has recorded 482 digs. She leads the BIG EAST, averaging 4.73 digs per set.
Graduate student Jill Pressly has recorded a team-high 427 kills and leads the BIG EAST averaging 4.19 kills per set. She has also notched 263 digs, 27 aces and 34 blocks.
Senior Ashley Cudiamat has tallied 564 assists and 252 digs.
