PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College senior co-captain
Max Crozier (Calgary, Alta.) was named Hockey East Army ROTC Co-Defender of the Week on Monday (Feb. 6) for the second time this season.
Crozier posted three points over the weekend, with all three points coming in Sunday afternoon's 3-1 victory at Vermont. He assisted on the Friars' first two goals of the contest, before adding an insurance goal late in regulation on the power play. He also finished the weekend with a +2 rating and five blocked shots. The senior is tied for fourth among Hockey East players in assists with 19, which is also tied for second among Hockey East defensemen in that category.
The Friars will host No. 20/17 Northeastern University on Friday night (Feb. 10) at Schneider Arena.
