CINCINNATI, OHIO - The Providence College volleyball team was defeated by Xavier, 3-0, on Saturday, November 11 in Cincinnati, Ohio.Â
 FIRST SET HIGHLIGHTS: Xavier won the first set, 25-20. - The two teams went back-and-forth to start the set making it 4-4. - The Musketeers went on a 9-5 run to take a 13-9 lead. - The Friars went on a 6-2 run to tie the set at 15-15. - Xavier scored three unanswered points late in the set to take a 20-17 lead forcing Providence to call a timeout. - The Musketeers closed out the set, winning 25-20 - Shea Dupuis (Richardson, Texas) recorded five kills for the Friars in the first set.
 SECOND SET HIGHLIGHTS: The Musketeers won the second set, 25-18, to take the 2-0 lead in the match. - Xavier started the second set on a 7-4 run forcing a Providence timeout. - The Musketeers extended their lead to 16-11 in the middle of the set. - Xavier held onto its lead the rest of the set, winning 25-18. - Shaliyah Rhoden (Rowlett, Texas) registered three kills in the second set.
 THIRD SET HIGHLIGHTS: Xavier won the third set, 25-22, to win the match. - The Friars got off to a quick 6-2 lead to start the third set forcing a Xavier timeout. - The Musketeers went on a 7-3 run to tie the set at 9-9causing a Providence timeout. - Providence scored four unanswered points to take the 15-11 lead. - Xavier scored nine of the next 12 points to take the 20-18 lead. - The Musketeers closed out the set, winning 25-22. - Dupuis and Rhoden each had four kills in the third set.
 MATCH NOTES: - Rhoden led the Friars' offense with 11 kills and added 9 digs. - Jiji Lykins (Coral Springs, Fla.) had a team-high 13 digs. -Miller McDonald (Dallas, Texas) recorded 22 assist and nine digs for Providence.Â
