PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's volleyball team is set to travel to Xavier and Butler this weekend. The Friars will face Xavier on Saturday, November 11 at 12:00 p.m. in Cincinnati, Ohio and Butler on Sunday, November 12 at 12:00 p.m. in Indianapolis, Ind.

SCOUTING PROVIDENCE (8-18, 2-12 BIG EAST)
- The Friars enter the weekend with an 8-18 overall record, including a 2-12 mark in the BIG EAST Conference.
- The Friars are coming off back-to-back losses against St. John's (3-0) on November, 3 in Providence, R.I. and Seton Hall (3-1) on November, 4 in Providence, R.I.
- Providence's victories in conference play this season included a weekend sweep of Georgetown (3-2) and Villanova (3-2) on Oct. 6-7.

Lyric Berry (Wylie, Texas) has been another formidable defensive presence at the net and leads the team in solo blocks (24), to go along with 55 block assists.

Savannah Ivie (Frisco, Texas) leads the Friars in digs (261), averaging 2.93 per set.
- The Friars' roster features seven freshman.
- Nine of the 14 players on the roster are from the state of Texas.
SCOUTING XAVIER (16-9, 9-5 BIG EAST)
- The Musketeers enter the weekend with a 16-9 overall record and a 9-5 mark in the BIG EAST.
- Xavier is in fourth place in the BIG EAST.
- Most recently, Xavier defeated Georgetown (3-0) on Friday, November 3, and Villanova (3-2) on Sunday, November 5.
- As a team, the Musketeers ranks third in the BIG EAST in kills per set (12.92) and fourth in digs per set (15.47).
- Delaney Hogan and Sarah Stevens occupy the six and seven spot for hitting percentage in the BIG EAST. Hogan has a hitting percentage of .340 and Stevens has a hitting percentage of .333.
- Carrigan O'Reilly ranks seventh in the BIG EAST in assists per set, averaging 8.4.
- Stevie Wolf ranks fourth in the BIG EAST in digs per set, averaging 4.10.
- Hogan has a team-high 67 blocks.
SCOUTING BUTLER (10-15, 4-10 BIG EAST)
- The Bulldogs enter the weekend with a 10-15 overall record, including a 4-10 mark in the BIG EAST Conference.
- Butler currently sits in ninth place in the BIG EAST.
- Most recently, Butler was defeated by Villanova (3-2) on Friday, November 3, and Georgetown (3-2) on Sunday, November 5.
- Mariah Grunze ranks sixth in the BIG EST in kills per set (3.43) and fifth in the BIG EAST in hitting percentage (.343).
- Abby Maesch ranks seventh in the BIG EAST in kills per set, averaging 3.39 per set.
