PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's hockey team boasts 18 former, current and future players across 11 teams that are attending NHL Development Camps this week (July 11-15). Four members will attend Boston Bruins camp this week -
Michael Callahan,
Riley Duran,
Jamie Engelbert and Philip Svedebäck, while brothers Brady and
Brett Berard will both attend New York Rangers camp.
In total, 13 members of the 2022-23 roster, four former Friars (Callahan, Olischefski, Stauber and Thompson) and one future commitment (Levens) are participating in various camps this week.
Incoming freshman Jara Chmelar, a 2021 New York Rangers draft selection, will be participating at World Juniors Camp with his native Czechia team.
