PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's soccer beat Brown, 2-1, on Thursday, Sept. 16 on Chapey Field to conclude non-conference play. After being down, 1-0, the Friars scored two second half goals to secure the win. Sophomore Meg Hughes (Rochester, Mass.) tied the score in the 62nd minute. Fifth-year Hannah McNulty scored her first goal of the season and the game winner in the 71st minute. It marked McNulty's 25th career goal, McNulty is now in third place among the program's all-time scorers with 60 points. McNulty passes former Friar, Eileen Farren, who has been in third place since she graduated in 1990.
