Maryanne Boyle Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Providence College sophomore middle blocker Maryanne Boyle (Blacklick, Ohio) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for volleyball, as announced by the league on Monday, September 13.
 
Boyle earned Tournament MVP honors at the 16th Annual Friar Volleyball Classic as part of Providence's perfect 4-0 week. The sophomore compiled a hitting percentage of .580 for the week and hitting no worse than .444 across her four matches. Boyle had 10 kills and a .769 hitting percentage in a sweep over Merrimack, and added 11 kills to go along with three service aces, three digs and a .556 hitting percentage in the win over Binghamton. 

The Friars will travel to Fordham University on Saturday, September 18 for the Fordham Tournament.
