MADISON, WIS. – The Providence College women's soccer team lost to Wisconsin, 3-2, in overtime on Sunday, Sept. 12 in Madison, Wis.Freshman
Maria Paveglio (Lake Orion, Mich.) gave the Friars a 1-0 advantage in the first half off a pass from fifth-year
Hannah McNulty (Warwick, R.I.). McNulty's assist marked her 58
th career point. She is now tied for fourth place among the program's all-time scoring leaders.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
- McNulty took the first shot of the game in the 18
th minute.
-In the 31
st minute, Paveglio opened the scoring by hitting the bottom right of the goal off a pass from McNulty.
-In the first half there were three yellow cards distributed, two to Providence and one to Wisconsin.
-The Friars and Badgers each took four shots in the first half.
-Wisconsin tied the game off a penalty kick in the 51
st minute.
-In the 54
th minute, the Badgers took a 2-1 advantage hitting the bottom left of the net.
-With 20 minutes left in regulation, the Friars were awarded four corners in a row, but the Badgers defense did not allow the Friars to convert a goal to even the score.

th minute, Providence scored off a Wisconsin own goal making the score, 2-2.
-With one minute left in regulation, Jordyn Bloomer saved Hughes' shot to keep the score tied.
-At the end of regulation, the score was tied, 2-2.

th minute, Wisconsin's Claire Odmark scored the golden goal.
-The Friars will return to action on Thursday, Sept. 16 to conclude non-conference play against Brown University in Providence, R.I.
