CHICAGO, Ill.– The Providence College volleyball fell to DePaul in four sets, 1-3, during BIG EAST regular-season play on Oct. 29 in Chicago, Ill.
1st SET:
• Providence fought back from an early 7-2 deficit to take the set, 25-21.
•
Sasha Rudich and
Emma Nelson tallied team-highs in kills, with four each.
•
Mackenzie Taylor registered nine digs.
•
Allison Barber tallied 13 assists for the Friars.
2nd SET:
• DePaul took the second set, 25-10, with help from a 9-1 run in the second half of the set.
•
Maryanne Boyle and
Shaliyah Rhoden led the Friars with two kills each in the second set.
•
Allison Barber paced the Friars in digs, with five.
3rd SET:
• The Friars and Blue Demons were back-and-forth in the third set, with six lead changes and 11 tied scores. DePaul ultimately took the set, 25-19.

Emma Fink put up a team-high four kills on nine attempts (.444).
• Taylor tallied nine digs for Providence.
4th SET:
• DePaul led for the entirety of the fourth set, closing it out at 25-17.
• Rudich recorded four kills on five attempts (.800).
• Barber tallied all 10 kills for the Friars.
NOTES / HIGHLIGHTS:
• Rudich led the Friars with 10 kills in the match off of 19 attempts at the net (.421).
•
Allison Barber recorded 36 assists and added 11 digs and one kill.
• Taylor finished the night with a team-high 14 digs while also contributing three assists.

• Providence will face-off against Marquette tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 30 . The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. ET in Milwaukee, Wis.
