MILWAUKEE, Wis.– The Providence College volleyball fell to Marquette in straight sets, 3-0, on Oct. 30 in Milwaukee, Wis. With the loss, the Friars are now 15-10 on the season and are 3-9 in BIG EAST play.
1st SET:
• The Friars fell the Golden Eagles in set one, 10-25.

Shaliyah Rhoden led the Friars' attack with two kills.
•
Allison Barber contributed to the offense tallying three assists.
•
Mackenzie Taylor led the Friars' defense recording five digs.
2nd SET:
• Providence dropped the second set, 18-25.
•
Jennifer Leitman added a team-high four kills in the second set.
•
Taylor totaled a team-high eight digs.
•
Sammie Ruggles paced the Friars in digs, with six.
3rd SET:
• The Golden Eagles closed out the match, defeating the Friars 25-14 in the third set.
• Rhoden and
Emma Fink registered team-high in kills, with two apiece.
• Barber tallied three digs for Providence.
NOTES / HIGHLIGHTS:
• Rhoden paced the Friars' attack with seven kills on 25 total attacks.

Barber and Ruggles tied for a team-high in assists (10).
• Taylor led the Friar defense with 15 digs.

• Providence returns home next weekend for a pair of BIG EAST matches against Butler and Xavier. The Friars will face the Bulldogs on Friday, Nov. 5 at 6:00 p.m. and the Musketeers on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 1:00 p.m.
