Spenser Young Inks AHL Contract With The Milwaukee Admirals

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College senior co-captain Spenser Young (Brentwood, N.H.) has signed an American Hockey League contract with the Milwaukee Admirals for the 2020-21 season, the team announced on Thursday (April 16).
 
In 138 career games on the Friar blue line from 2016-20, Young totaled 15 goals and 33 assists with a +23 rating. His best campaign at Providence College came in 2018-19, where amassed career-highs in goals (8), assists (13), points (21) and a +19 rating. Young will re-unite with former teammate Josh Wilkins, who spent his rookie season with the Admirals in 2019-20.
 
The senior was also a three-time member of the Hockey East All-Academic Team and was an inductee of Providence College's Chi Alpha Sigma by achieving a minimum of a 3.4 grade-point average through at least five semesters.
