PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's soccer team improved to 7-3-1 this season after prevailing in double overtime on the road against Marquette, 2-1, on Tuesday, Oct. 3 in Milwaukee, Wis.
Elayna Grillakis (Lowell, Mass.) scored the game-winner in the 106
th minute for her third golden goal of the season. Providence now holds a 5-0-1 record in overtime games this season.

Alessandra Arace (Pittsfield, Mass.) played a ball into the box from right in front of the midfield line on the right side of the field,
Kelsie Cummings (Millbury, Mass.) gathered the ball near the penalty mark before putting a right-footed shot off the goalkeepers hands and in the top left corner.

Amber Birchwell (Mastic, N.Y.) beat the defender on the right side before playing a ball to Grillakis that she hit off the goalkeeper on the first attempt, before burying the second attempt on the goal line.
- The goal tied Grillakis for the team-lead in goals (five) with
Hannah McNulty (Warwick, R.I.). It also marked her third golden goal of the season.
