CHICAGO, Ill. – The Providence College men's soccer team fell to the DePaul Blue Demons, 2-0, on Saturday, Oct. 19 in Chicago Ill. The Friars record falls to 8-5-0 for the season and 2-3-0 in league play.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
- Trevor Davock (Medway, Mass.) gave the Friars a chance for the lead in the 18th minute. Davock shot was low left but DePaul keeper was able to make the diving save to keep it tied.
- DePaul had their first opportunity to score in the 25th minute. Austin Aviza (Medway, Mass.) made the save and kept the game at 0-0 on a shot from Youssef Ramadan.
- Providence outshot the Blue Demons, 8-2, in the first half.
- DePaul takes the lead, 1-0, in the 66th minute. Jake Fuderer scores on a free kick about 15 yards out and sends the ball into the upper right of the net over a diving Aviza.
- In the 88th minute Youssef Ramadan scores an insurance goal that puts the Blue Demons up, 2-0.
- Despite the loss the Friars outshot DePaul, 15-7, and held the advantage in corner kicks, 4-1.

1-0 - (DePaul) 66:22/2nd – Jake Fuderer – Fuderer took a free kick 15 yards out and scored with his right foot in the upper right corner of the goal.
2-0 – (DePaul) 88:20/2nd – Youssef Ramadan (De Bruijne) – De Bruijne broke free and dribbled the ball up the field and quickly passed it off to Ramadan who finished with his right foot in the lower left of the net.
