Women’s Soccer Holds Off Fairleigh Dickinson, 1-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's soccer team continued non-conference play Sunday, Aug. 19 with a 1-0 win over the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. Senior Casey Estey (Kensington, N.H.) opened up the scoring for Providence in the 23^rd minute, finishing a rebound inside the six-yard box. Hannah McNulty (Warwick, R.I.) assisted on the play after her free kick was deflected off the crossbar. Neither team had many dangerous opportunities throughout the rest of the game, Providence held Fairleigh Dickinson to four shots in total.
