Nagel Finishes 16th In NCAA 10,000 Meter Final

EUGENE, Ore. - Providence College graduate-student Laura Nagel (Napier, New Zealand) competed in the 10,000 meters at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships last night (June 11) in Eugene, Ore.

Nagel finished 16th, crossing the line in a time of 34:31.08 for her final collegiate race. Nagel earned Second Team All-America honors for her 16th-place finish, capping off her career as a six-time All-American.  

Next up for the Friars at the Championship, graduate-student Emily Sisson (Chesterfield, Mo.) is set to compete on Saturday (June 13) in her final collegiate race. Sisson will be competing for her second NCAA title in the 5,000 meters. The race is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start and will be live on ESPN2.
