Upcoming Event: Women's Track and Field at Brown Alden Invitational on December 6, 2025

The Providence College women's track team competed at the BU John Thomas Terrier Invitational on Friday, Jan. 30 in Boston, Mass.
Highlighting the distance events were junior Lauren Mullins (Binghamton, N.Y.) and the freshmen duo of Brianna Ilarda (Perth, Australia) and Katie Lembo (Penfield, N.Y.). Mullins finished sixth in the 5,000 meters in a personal best time of 16:36.35, while Ilarda and Lembo finished 10th (9:28.25) and 12th (9:30.04), respectively in the 3,000 meters. Lembo's time also was a personal best.
Also in the distance events, Emily Bushey (Vernon, N.J.) finished 16th in the 3,000 meters in a personal best 9:37.63, while Julie Solimine finished in a time of 10:34.63 in the same event. Along with Mullins in the 5,000 meters, Mackenzie Barry (Mendham, N.J.) finished 29th in the 5,000 meters (17:30.32).
In the mile, Devyn Pryor (Dartmouth, Mass.) finished the day with a personal best after running a time of 5:02.79. Bryanna Allison (Lowell, Mass.), Jillian Fanning (Manlius, N.Y.) and Sarah Hammond (Essex, Conn.) also raced in the mile. Allison finished in a time of 5:03.86, while Fanning and Hammond crossed the line in 5:09.51 and 5:20.22, respectively.
Over the shorter distances, six women came away with personal bests in their respective events, including Caitlin Abelseth (Voorheesville, N.Y.) in the 400 meters, Lauren Basile (Watertown, Mass.) in the 200 meters, Taylor Corder (Corinth, Miss.) in the 500 meters, Kelsey Dermody (Norton, Mass.) in the 400 meters and Caile Kohlbrenner (Sparkill, N.Y.) and Caitlin Lawlor (Concord, Mass.) in the 800 meters.
The Friars will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 7 in Kingston, R.I. at the URI Coaches Invitational.
