Men's And Women's Swimming & Diving Among List Of CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The College Swimming Coaches Association of America unveiled its list of Scholar All-America Teams for the 2012 spring semester. The Providence College men's and women's swimming & diving teams were among the list of programs recognized by the CSCAA. The women's team posted a 3.40 in the spring semester, while the men's team compiled a 3.17 GPA.

The Clemson University and University of Alabama women and Yale University men's programs led all Division I programs with a 3.62 grade-point averages

To qualify as a CSCAA Scholar All-American squad, teams must post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the previous semester. Teams are recognized twice per year at the close of each semester (fall/spring).
