Providence College Hockey Announces Date For 2005 Alumni Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Providence College Men's Hockey Coach Tim Army announced today that the 2005 Friar Hockey Alumni Weekend will be held on August 19-20.
The Alumni game will take place on Friday, August 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Schneider Arena. Following the game, there will be a dinner at the Friends of Friar Hockey Room at Schneider Arena. The dinner, which begins at 9:00 p.m., costs $35. The Cranston Country Club will host a golf outing for Providence College Hockey Alumni, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 20. The cost for Saturday's golf outing is $185. It includes lunch, golf, dinner and a gift.
Many former Friars will be in attendance, including Brian Burke, Rob Gaudreau, Steve Rooney and current Friar Head Coach Tim Army. For more information on the Friar Alumni Weekend, contact Steve Napollilo at the Office of Institutional Advancement (401-865-2677).
