Jon Rheault Named Hockey East Rookie Of The Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Providence College men's hockey forward Jon Rheault (Deering, N.H.) was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Monday, February 28. It marked the second time this season that Rheault has earned rookie of the week honors. He also earned the accolade on January 3.
Rheault helped the Friars to a weekend sweep of Merrimack. On February 25, he recorded one assist in the team's 4-1 win in North Andover, Mass., marking the Friars' first road victory of the season. The following night, Rheault tallied two assists as the Friars upended the Warriors, 4-2, at Schneider Arena. For the season, he ranks fourth on the team in scoring with 16 points (eight goals, eight assists).
Rheault is the son of Terese and Jon Rheault.
The Friars return to action on Saturday, March 5 when they travel to UMass Lowell to face the River Hawks at 7:00 p.m.
