Men's Ice Hockey Team Participates In Community Service Project

Members of the Providence College men's ice hockey team participated in a community service project on Tuesday, January 15th at the Meeting Street Center.

Junior co-captains Devin Rask (Parkside, Sask.) and Jon DiSalvatore (South Windsor, Conn.), along with six teammates, helped eight children with adaptive bowling. Other team members read to children, discussed hockey, played on the playground, baked cookies and helped in the adaptive physical education class.

For the third-straight year, the Meeting Street Center has been designated the official charity of the Mayor's Cup Game and will receive a portion on the revenue generated from ticket sales to the annual game.
