BOSTON, Mass. - The Providence College women's track team competed in the ECAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Mass., on Saturday, March 3. Providence finished 31st out of 46 teams.

Roisin McGettigan (Wicklow, Ireland) finished the preliminaries of the one mile run in 4:46.10, for second place in her respective heat. She went on to finish third overall with a time of 4:49.90. Francine Darroch (Cambridge, Ontario) placed eleventh in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:49.24. Emer O'Shea (Limerick, Ireland) finished fifth in her heat, and fifteenth overall in the 1,000 meter run with a time of 2:55.86.
