Women's Track Competes At Valentine Invitational

Valentine Invitational at BU, Boston, Mass. - Feb. 10, 2001

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Providence College women's track team competed at the Valentine Invitational at Boston University in Boston, Mass. on Saturday, February 10.

The Friars were led by sophomore Roisin McGettigan (Wicklow, Ireland) who placed second in the mile in a time of 4:51.93.

Junior Joan Bohlke (Old Saybrook, Conn.) placed fifth in the 500 meters in a time of 1:17.03.

PC's distance medley relay team finished second in a time of 12:03.31.
