BOSTON UNIVERSITY (1-1-0) - On Saturday, Boston University will travel to Schneider Arena for the 121st meeting all-time between the two schools with the Terriers holding a 75-38-7 advantage. The Terriers are the defending HOCKEY EAST regular-season champions and enter the game ranked 11th in the nation. BU is led offensively by Brian Collins (Shrewsbury, Mass.) who has registered one goal and four assists this season. Senior Carl Corazzini (Framingham, Mass.) is the Terriers' top returning scorer, last season he tallied 22 goals and 22 assists. Junior Jason Tapp (Kelowna, B.C.) should get the starting nod in goal for BU. This will mark Tapp's second appearance versus the Friars. On February 19, 2000, Tapp earned a 4-3 win over the Friars after relieving BU starter Rick DePietro.

PROVIDENCE COLLEGE (2-0-0) - The Friars enter Saturday's game ranked 15th in the nation. The Friars are coming off two impressive wins over Miami and Lake Superior on October 20-21. The Friars have posted a 19-19-3 record all-time versus BU at Schneider Arena. The last time the Terriers came to Providence, the Friars prevailed, 5-2, on February 18, 2000. The Friars' offense has been led by sophomore Devin Rask (Parkside, Saskatchewan) with two goals and two assists. Senior defenseman Matt Libby has paced the Friars' defense this season. For his efforts last week he was named HOCKEY EAST Defensive Player Of The Week. Senior Boyd Ballard (Weyburn, Saskatchewan) and sophomore Nolan Schaefer (Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan) have split time in goal this season.
