Keri Soppe begins her second season as a graduate assistant with the Providence College women's basketball program in 2016-17.

Soppe graduated from the University of Richmond in 2015, where she was a four-year member of the women's basketball team. During her career, she played 105 games and appeared in the starting line-up 67 times. Soppe averaged 3.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. She finished her career with a .373 field-goal percentage (134-359) and also hit 62-76 attempts from the free-throw line (.816).

Soppe is a native of Rochester, N.Y., where she attended Irondequoit High School. She earned numerous honors during her career, including 2011 All-Greater-Rochester Player of the Year, BCANY Section V Player of the Year and Monroe County East Player of the Year. She also was a two-time All Greater Rochester First-Team selection, a three-time All-Monroe County First Team pick, a BCANY Section V First-Team selection and a Class AA All-State Fourth Team honoree. Soppe was among the top-7 finalists for Miss New York Basketball.

Soppe will pursue her MBA at Providence College and is expected to graduate in May 2017.
