CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Logan Sawyer scored 1:22 into overtime and Jack Parsons made a career-high 43 saves as the No. 14 Providence College men's hockey team defeated No. 12/13 Boston College, 4-3, at Conte Forum on Friday (Jan. 16).

- The Friars took a one-goal lead into the locker room after 20 minutes of play.
- Former Friar Brady Berard re-direct a shot from the point to open the scoring for Boston College at 9:12.
- Just 12 seconds later, Clint Levens capitalized off a turnover in the slot for his fourth goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1.
- Aleksi Kivioja notched his second goal in as many games as he intercepted a pass and finished past Cloutier with 7.1 seconds left in the period.
- Kale McCallum extended the Providence lead to 3-1 at the 8:42 mark of the second period with his third goal of the season off assists from Beau Jelsma and Tomas Machu.
- Teddy Stiga responded for the Eagles just 36 seconds later to cut the Friar lead to 3-2.
- Will Moore leveled the game at 3-3 with just over eight minutes remaining in regulation.
- Sawyer intercepted a pass and beat Cloutier through the five-hole in overtime to give the Friars the victory.
- Providence earns its first-ever overtime victory on the road at Boston College and it's first over the Eagles at any venue since Game 1 of the 2019 Hockey East Quarterfinals.
