Campbell Skelly finished tied for fifth in the 75-player field.

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. – The Providence College men's golf team completed the two-day Ryan T. Lee Memorial on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Wethersfield Country Club. The Friars tied for sixth in the 15-team field with a score of 582 (+14). Junior Campbell Skelly (Charleston, S.C.) led the way, finishing tied for fifth overall at 141 (-1).
 
The Friars moved up one spot in the team standings on the final day. The University of Rhode Island held off Iona University and Fairfield University to win the team title at 564 (-4). Providence shot a 292 in the opening round and a 290 in the final round. URI's Luke Stennett won the individual title at nine under.
 
Skelly climbed two places on the final day, shooting a one-under 70 on Tuesday. He finished with rounds of 71-70 for a 141 (-1), tallying seven birdies and an eagle across 36 holes. Freshmen Callan Fahey (Wheaton, Ill.) and Will Spring (Concord, Mass.) also recorded the first eagles of the season for the Friars.
 
Fahey carded a one-over 71 in the final round, moving up 18 spots on the leaderboard from round one to finish tied for 21st. The freshman made three birdies on Tuesday.
