PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College men's soccer team (2-3-0) will face No. 17 Bryant (4-0-1) on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7:00 p.m. on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. The game will be streamed on ESPN+. The Friars will look for their first win against a ranked opponent since 2023 when they beat No. 5 Georgetown.

SCOUTING THE FRIARS
The Friars enter Saturday's match looking to rebound from a 2-0 loss against Harvard. Despite outshooting the Crimson 12-8 and earning a 7-4 edge in corner kicks, Providence was unable to capitalize offensively.
Through five games, the Friars have outshot opponents 80-46 and they hold a 36-12 advantage in corner kicks. Senior

Two returners earned All-BIG EAST honors last season for the Friars. Rosa earned All-BIG EAST Second Team. Senior midfielder
Diego Batista (Barcelos, Portugal) was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team. Both Rosa and Batista were named to the 2025 Preseason All-BIG EAST Team on Aug. 19.

Pearse O'Brien (West Hartford, Conn.) enters his third season with the Friars. Throughout his career in Providence, he has solidified himself as a strong offensive threat, recording four goals and 11 assists. He was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team in 2024.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs enter Friday's game ranked No. 17 in the country, the highest ranking in program history. They have started the season 4-0-1 and have allowed just two goals through five games. The Bulldogs had a statement win on Sep. 6 when they beat No. 20 UMass. Senior goalkeeper Enzo Carvalho has put together a strong campaign so far this season. He earned American East Defensive Player of the Week last week after recording two clean sheets against UMass and Dartmouth.
