PROVIDENCE, R.I. –The 2024 Providence College Men's Ice Hockey Vision Cup Golf Tournament, presented by QML, Inc., was held at Wannamoisett Country Club on Monday, August 26. The event raised more than $100,000 to support the Providence College men's ice hockey program.

Nate Leaman said. "I want to give a special thank you to Dennis Smith '74 and Mike Huber '78 from QML, Inc. as well as the Barry Family for making this such a special day."
"The support from our generous donors who participated in the Men's Ice Hockey Vision Cup Golf Tournament presented by QML, Inc. is profound," Steve Napolillo '98, Director of Athletics shared. "Their support exemplifies the power of combining purpose with passion. A special thank you to Wannamoisett Country Club, Dennis Smith '74 and Mike Huber '78 from QML, the Barry Family, Amica, and every golfer who came out to support the men's ice hockey program."
Amica sponsored the NIL segment of the event, offering a platform for returning players like
Chase Yoder '24, '25G, to share their student-athlete experiences. "I want to thank Dennis Smith '74 and Mike Huber '78 from QML, Inc. for their unwavering support for our team," Yoder stated. "I'd like to also thank John Barry '19P, '25P and his family for their contributions to Friars Hockey and our event today. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get out on the course and get to know so many of our supporters and alumni."

Proceeds from the 2024 Providence Men's Ice Hockey Vision Cup will directly support the men's ice hockey program as they look to compete for a Hockey East and a national championship this upcoming season.
