Last Time Out…
- The Friars are coming off a split weekend series with UConn that saw Providence dominate the first game on the road in a 5-0 routing of the Huskies on Friday, Feb. 2 before falling 2-1 at home on Saturday, Feb. 3.
- In Friday's contest, the Friars opened the scoring late in the first period as Hudson Malinoski and Riley Duran both connected on the long power-play, putting Providence up 2-0 through 20 minutes.
- The Friars extended their lead with 6:45 to go in the second period, as Connecticut native Luke Krys netted his fourth of the year to put Providence up three.
- Providence capped the scoring in the third period, as Craig Needham and Matt Hubbarde found the back of the net midway through the final frame, leading to the eventual 5-0 victory.
- Philip Svedebäck earned his fourth shutout of the season in the win.
- On Saturday, it was UConn who struck first with a power-play goal off the stick of Jake Richard, giving the Huskies the 1-0 lead late in the first period.
- Chase Bradley extended the Huskies' lead 2-0 with just under three minutes to go in the second period.
- The Friars' offense got going in the third period, with an early power-play goal from Bennett Schimek pulling the Friars within one.
- Neither offenses found success through the remainder of the period, resulting in UConn's 2-1 win.

Max Crozier Makes NHL Debut
- Former Friar captain Max Crozier made his NHL Debut on Jan. 13 for the Tampa Bay Lightning, becoming the 46th Friar to appear in an NHL game. In seven games with Tampa, he has posted two assists and a +1 rating while averaging 14:30 in ice time.
 
Leaman Hits Milestone
Head Coach Nate Leaman earned his 249th career victory at Providence on Nov. 11, passing Lou Lamoriello as the program's winningest head coach all-time. Leaman sits at 393 career victories as a Division I head coach.
 
McDonald Approaching Program Record
Captain Cam McDonald sits at 153 games played at Providence, four shy of setting the program record for games played.
 
Program Hits 1,100 Wins All-Time
The program registered it's 1,100th win all-time on Jan. 27, becoming the fourth member of Hockey East to reach that benchmark.
 
Stock Watch
Through 25 games played, Nick Poisson (7-13-20), Tanner Adams (5-12-17) and Chase Yoder (9-7-16) pace the Friars in points this season. Twenty-two Friars have tallied a point this season, including eleven players with at least 10 points.
