Last Time Out…
- Guillaume Richard scored on the power play 23 seconds into overtime as the No. 10/13 Providence College men's hockey team rallied for a 4-3 win at No. 7 Maine on Saturday night (Feb. 10) at Alfond Arena.
- Providence held the Black Bears in check until the final moments of the first period before Josh Nadeau netted his second power-play goal of the weekend to give Maine a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes.
- Jamie Engelbert got the Friars even at 5:48 of the second period as he re-directed a Cam McDonald one-timer from the point for his sixth goal of the year. Clint Levens earned the secondary assist.
- Jaroslav Chmelar looked to give the Friars the lead after Chase Yoder fed a pass to the back door but Boija sprawled to make the save.
- The Black Bears cashed in on the power play late in the period as Ben Poisson put back a rebound in the crease to give Maine a 2-1 lead.
- Graham Gamache knotted the game with five seconds remaining on the power play at the 9:54 mark of the third period. Hudson Malinoski got a touch on a loose puck in the slot and Gamache fired through a screen for his fourth goal of the year.
- Maine re-gained the lead with their third power-play goal of the night as Brandon Chabrier gave the Black Bears a 3-2 lead.
- Malinoski buried a rebound at the side of the net with 4:33 remaining in regulation to tie the game at 3-3. Richard and Riley Duran earned the assists on Malinoski's seventh goal of the year.
- Bennett Schimek drew a holding call on Liam Lesakowski after a strong net drive with a minute remaining in the period.
- On the power play in overtime, Richard got a feed from Nick Poisson and one-timed a shot past Boija for his third goal of the year to give the Friars the win.

Max Crozier Makes NHL Debut
- Former Friar captain Max Crozier made his NHL Debut on Jan. 13 for the Tampa Bay Lightning, becoming the 46th Friar to appear in an NHL game. In seven games with Tampa, he has posted two assists and a +1 rating while averaging 14:30 in ice time.
 
Leaman Hits Milestone
Head Coach Nate Leaman earned his 249th career victory at Providence on Nov. 11, passing Lou Lamoriello as the program's winningest head coach all-time. Leaman sits at 395 career victories as a Division I head coach.

Captain Cam McDonald sits at 155 games played at Providence, two shy of setting the program record for games played.
 
Malinoski Named Hockey East Co-Rookie of the Week
Freshman Hudson Malinoski earned Hockey East Co-Rookie accolades after registering three points (1-2-3) in the third period and overtime of Providence's 4-3 win at Maine last Saturday.

Series History vs. Boston University
