Cincinnati, Ohio - The Providence College women's soccer team defeated No. 20 Xavier University, 2-1, on Sunday, October 20 on Corcoran Field in Cincinnati, Ohio. This marked the Friars' first win versus a nationally ranked opponent since Providence defeated No. 15 Georgetown in 2017. Providence improved to 6-8-1 overall and 3-4-0 in BIG EAST play. Xavier fell to 13-2-2 overall, and 6-1-1 in the BIG EAST.

- Samantha Erbach scored for Xavier seven minutes into the first half to give the Musketeers the early lead. Her goal was assisted by Samantha Wiehe.
