SCOUTING PROVIDENCE COLLEGE (5-4, 0-2 BIG EAST):
• Providence enters the weekend with a 5-4 overall record, including a 5-1 mark at Lennon Family Field.
• Ten players have scored at least one goal this season through nine games, including six multi-goal scorers.
•
Lisa McNamara leads the Friars in scoring with 10 points on five goals. She has attempt 10 shots this season and have put seven of them on target. Two of her five goals have been from the stroke mark this season and is 2-3 overall this year in penalty-stroke opportunities.
• McNamara's five goals mark a single-season career high. She also has reached double figures in the scoring column for just the second time in her career (10 points). During the 2021 campaign, McNamara tallied a personal best of 12 points on two goals and eight assists.

Celia Preveza is second on the team in scoring (seven points) and goals (three). She also has recorded one assist.

Bella DelNegro,
Bo Martina,
Macie Pennisi and
Ally DeCoste have each scored two goals this season.
• Five players on the roster have recorded a team-best two assists.
• Fourteen players have scored at least one points for Providence, including five freshmen. Martina leads the freshmen class in scoring with six points on two goals and two assists.
• Defender Eleonore de Keyser was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team. She missed her first two seasons with an injury and returned in 2022 to start all 17 games as a central defender. In 2023, she is the only member of the team to play every minute of every game (through nine matches).

Asia Porter has played 525 minutes in the cage for Providence. She owns a 1.71 goals against average and a 0.717 save percentage.
• Providence was picked to finish fifth in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches' Poll.
• The Friars have added eight newcomers to the roster for the 2023 season. Five of those eight have seen time in the starting line-up.
• In May, the program announced its 2023 team captains:

Marley Mailloux, Eleonore de Keyser and
Lisa McNamara.
SCOUTING OLD DOMINION (4-5, 1-1 BIG EAST):
• Old Dominion enters the weekend with a 4-5 overall record, including a 1-1 mark in the BIG EAST Conference.
• The Monarchs have played five nationally-ranked opponents this season and have posted a 1-4 record in those games. Their only victory over a ranked foe came against No. 19 Temple (1-0) on Sept. 22.
• Marlon de Bruijne leads ODU in scoring with 13 points on six goals and one assist.
• Sanci Molkenboer also has reached double figures in the scoring column, with 11 points on five goals and one assist.
• Suus Broers has played 508 minutes in the cage for ODU and owns a 1.18 goals against average and a 0.722 save percentage.
• Old Dominion leads the all-time series between the two programs, 12-1. Providence's lone victory came during the 2016 campaign.

• Providence will host a pair of matches next weekend, beginning with BIG EAST foe Temple on Friday, Oct. 6 at 3:00 p.m. The Friars will close out the weekend on Sunday, Oct. 8 with a non-conference game against Queens University of Charlotte at 1:00 p.m.
