Luke Krys Named Hockey East Defender of the Week
Krys, a graduate transfer from Brown, helped anchor a strong defensive effort in the Friars' 4-2 victory on the road at No. 5/4 Michigan on Saturday and boosted the offensive attack with two assists. For the weekend, he finished with two shots on goal and three blocked shots.

Twelve Friars recorded at least one point over the weekend at Michigan, with registering multiple points. Friar rookies
Hudson Malinoski and
Tanner Adams tallied their first-career points with Malinoski scoring his first-career goal on Sunday.

- Sophomore forward Dean Schwenninger (1-4-5) registered the most assists for the Skyhawks in five games last season.
