Providence’s Alyn Breed And Rafael Castro Named To USA East Coast Team Rosters

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – It was announced on July 25 that Providence's junior guard Alyn Breed (Powder Springs, Ga.) and redshirt freshman forward Rafael Castro (Dover, N.J.) were named to USA East Coast Team rosters. The team will attend training camp in New York, N.Y. on August 1 and August 2 before departing for Barcelona, Spain. Games will take place in Barcelona on August 5 through August 7.
Breed finished the season averaging 3.2 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. He made eight appearances in the starting lineup and tallied a .809 free throw percentage making 38 of 47 attempts.
Castro will be making his debut for the Friars this season after redshirting last season.
