Men's Basketball To Face Northwestern In 2021 Legends Classic.

Friars will play Northwestern at 9:30 p.m. on November 22 on ESPN+.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The schedule for the 2021 Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper was released today. The Friars will face Big 10 foe Northwestern on November 22 at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN+ at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The other game on the first day will feature Virginia versus Georgia at 7:00 p.m. on ESPNU. The Friars will face Virginia or Georgia on the second day of the Classic at 5:00 p.m. (third place game) or 7:30 p.m. (championship) on November 23. Both games on November 23 will be on ESPN2.
The Friars have posted a 2-1 mark all-time versus Northwestern. In the most recent meeting, Northwestern defeated the Friars, 72-63, on November 13, 2019 in Evanston, Ill.
