The Friars claimed a 60-48 win at Alumni Hall on Jan. 26, 2020. The Musketeers picked up a 61-42 victory at the Cintas Center on Feb. 21. FRIARS WELCOME FAMILIES INTO ALUMNI HALL VIRTUALLY FOR PREGAME WARM-UPS... Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Providence College is among the majority of institutions across the county that are not allowing fans/families to attend games in person. Prior to the Friars' last home game vs. St. John's on Dec. 19, the program invited families "into Alumni Hall" virtually via Zoom. From the 75 minute mark of the warm-up clock to the 45 minute mark, families were able to wish the team luck on a big screen television located nearest the Friars' hoop for warm-ups. When players were not engaged in a warm-up activity in preparation for the game, they were able to communicate with the family members who join the zoom. The team will continue to provide the family zoom for the remainder of its home schedule.
