INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Providence College women's soccer team dropped their second BIG EAST game of the season to Butler, 1-0. The game was played in the Bud and Jackie Sellick Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind. on Sept. 30 at 1:00 p.m.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
- Both sides played a possession-based approach in the first 25 minutes of play.
- Amanda Rapaduski had the best goal-scoring chance of the first half for Butler in the 38th minute on a cross from the right side. Rapaduski put her header high of the crossbar from the top of the six-yard box.
- The bulldogs led in shots, 5-2, after 45 minutes.
- Anja Savich had a one-on-one with Hogan after a great over-the-top-ball from her teammate in the 49th minute. Savich tried to beat Hogan to the left side, but she made a diving save.
- Madison Toth scored her first goal of the season to put the Bulldogs in front. The ball was headed around the box before Toth hit a volley off the right post and in.
- The Friars had one last chance with a free kick in the 89th minute from right outside the 18-yard box, but Butler headed it away.
- Butler remains undefeated in BIG EAST play and outshot Providence, 15-5.
