Tim Schaller Named Inside College Hockey National Player of the Week

Providence College junior forward Tim Schaller (Merrimack, N.H.) was named Inside College Hockey Player of the Week on Tuesday, November 8. It marks the second weekly honor for Schaller who was tabbed as Hockey East Player of the Week on Monday, November 7.

In two wins over Vermont last weekend, Schaller totaled three power-play goals and one short-handed goal. On Friday, November 4, he recorded his first career hat trick as the Friars defeated the Catamounts, 5-2, at Schneider Arena. On Saturday night, Schaller scored another power-play goal to help the Friars to a 5-1 triumph.

The Friars (4-3-1, 4-2-0 Hockey East) will play two home games this weekend against Alabama-Huntsville, beginning on Friday, November 11 at Schneider Arena. The two teams will complete the series on Saturday, November 12.
