PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Providence College volleyball team (0-2) lost its second heartbreaker of the day with a 3-2 loss against host La Salle at the La Salle Invitational. PC led 2-0, but lost the next three games. Senior Annie Fiorvanti led the squad with 20 assists and 14 digs.

Freshman Amanda Little (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) also turned in a solid effort totaling a team-high 18 digs.

PC volleyball returns to action in Day Two of the tournament with a pair of contests on Saturday, Sept. 3. The Friars will face Bucknell at 10:00 a.m.
