Men's Basketball To Play Two Games On ESPN U

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College Friars announced that two of the men's basketball games will be televised on ESPN U this season. The Friars' games at Georgetown on January 5 and at Notre Dame on January 14 will be shown live on ESPNU. Due to the games being televised, tip off times were changed for both games. The game at Georgetown will start at 7:00 p.m. and the contest at Notre Dame is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

The Friars' other televised games will be carried on Cox Sports TV 3. The dates of those games will be announced next week.

The Friars will open the season with two exhibition games versus Laval University on November 5 and EA Sports All-Stars on November 8.

Tickets for all home games can be purchased Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the PC Ticket Office in Alumni Hall or by calling (401) 865-GO PC.
