Holy Cross Crusaders (6-7-2) - The Holy Cross Crusaders enter Tuesday's game after defeating Lehigh, 5-0, on Saturday, October 27. Junior forward Brandy Ault (Sykesville, Md.) scored two goals while senior Kate O'Shaughnessy (Marion, Mass.) tallied one goal and one assist to propel the Crusaders over Lehigh. O'Shaughnessy leads the squad in scoring with eight goals and five assists (23 points), while sophomore forward Sarah Comeaux (Northeaston, Mass.) and junior forward Lee Hummer (Lynnfield, Mass.) have three goals and two assists (eight points) each. The Crusaders have won two of the last three meetings against the Friars, including a 1-0 win during the 1999 season.
Providence College Friars (6-9-2) - Providence College hosts Holy Cross in its season finale on Tuesday, October 30 at 2:00 at PC's Glay Field. The Friars are coming off two consecutive, 3-0, losses against Seton Hall on Friday, October 26 and Yale on Saturday, October 27. The Friars' last victory came on October 21 as they defeated Villanova, 1-0. Freshman midfielder Maura Robertson (Wellesley, Mass.) leads the team in scoring with four goals and five assists (13 points). Senior forward Caitlyn Welsh (Winter Springs, Fla.) has three goals and three assists (nine points), while freshman forward Kate Kearney (Glastonbury, Conn.) has four goals and one assist (nine points). Providence leads the all-time series over Holy Cross, 10-4. The Friars defeated the Crusaders last season, 2-1, in overtime.
