As a Freshman: Started all 19 games for the Friars on defense... Led the team in scoring with 13 points on four goals and a team-best five assists... Tallied two game-winning goals in games vs. UC Davis (Sept. 17) and BIG EAST foe Georgetown (Oct. 13)... Named to Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-America Third Team, as one of just two freshmen in the country to earn All-America recognition... Also tabbed BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, a unanimous All-BIG EAST First-Team selection and earned a spot on the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team... Named All-Northeast Region First Team and Synapse Sports 2017 All-Rookie Team honoree... NFHCA Division I National Academic Team selection.
 Attended SG Augustinianum... Played club hockey for 12 years with Oranje Zwart, which became know as Orange-Rood after a merger of clubs in 2015... Served as team captain for one season... Competed for MA1 (U-18), which has claimed the Dutch championship on several occasions over the last few years... Also played for Dutch District U-12 and U-14 levels.

Personal: Born July 15, 1999... Daughter of Koen van Weezel and Helma van Weezel-Beelen... Has two brothers, Giel and Thijs... Planned major of study is undecided.
