KINGSTON, N.Y. – The Providence College men's golf team wrapped up play at the Roar-EE Invitational on Saturday, April 18, at the Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston, N.Y. The Friars placed 13th with a team score of 591 (+15). Freshman
Will Spring (Concor, Mass.) and junior
Campbell Skelly (Charleston, S.C) led Providence, both tying for 24th with a 145 (+1).

Fairfield captured the team title with a score of 561 (-15), while Fairfield's Rasmus Ditzinger claimed the individual title with a 133 (-11). Providence opened with a 285, followed by a 306.
Skelly shot a five-under 67 in the opening round to tie for first heading into the second 18 holes of the day. He recorded two eagles for the first time in his career. The 67 is his lowest round of the year after previously shooting a 68 at the Wofford Invitational last weekend. Spring recorded seven birdies on the day.
