HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The Providence College men's golf team completed the 2025-26 season at the BIG EAST Championships on Monday, May 4, at Riverton Pointe Golf and Country Club in Hardeeville, S.C. The Friars placed 11th overall with a team score of 895 (+31). Junior
Campbell Skelly (Charleston, S.C.) led Providence with a top-10 finish, placing tied for ninth overall with a score of 212 (-4).

Xavier captured the team title with a score of 843 (-21), while Xavier's Cayse Morgan claimed the individual title with a 202 (-14).
The tournament, which was set to begin on Saturday, May 2, was rained out that day, leading to 36 holes and two rounds being played on Sunday.
Skelly was tied for fifth after the second round after shooting rounds of 69 and 71 to open the tournament. The opening-round 69 was the lowest round by a Friar in BIG EAST Championship history. Three players had previously shot rounds of 70. The junior finished the tournament with 13 birdies and one eagle. The finish marked his second top-10 result of the season. It also was the first top-10 finish for a Friar at the BIG EAST Championships since Kevin Magner and Jeff Magee both tied for 10th at the 1994 BIG EAST Championships in Avenel, Md.
