PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's golf team begins its spring season on Tuesday, Feb. 10 and Wednesday, Feb. 11 at the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate, held at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz.

Play begins Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. ET with rounds one and two. The third and final round will be played Wednesday. The field includes 14 other schools: Central Michigan University, IU Indianapolis, Augusta University, University of Texas at Arlington, Tennessee Technological University, Northern Illinois University, Drake University, University of Texas at El Paso, University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, Portland State University, University of Idaho, University of Montana and Lehigh University.
Providence will play the Wigwam Resort Blue Course, a par 71 that measures 6,000 yards.
The Friars opened the 2025-26 season by competing in the first women's golf tournament in Providence College history at the two-day Boston College Red Bandanna Invitational at Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Mass. Sophomore
Gwendolyn Yarnall (East Aurora, N.Y.) recorded the first top-10 finish in program history with a tie for eighth at the Lady Dolphin Invitational on Oct. 20-21 at Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y. Yarnall finished the tournament with a score of 161 (+19). Providence's top team finish of the fall season also came at the Lady Dolphin Invitational with an eighth-place showing.

The Friars will follow up the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate with the El Campeon Collegiate at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. on Monday, Feb. 23 and Tuesday, Feb. 24.
