Friars will look to bounce back on Saturday, Sept. 13 at home against Bryant.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's soccer team was defeated by the Harvard University Crimson, 2-0, on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on Friday, Sept. 5 in Providence, R.I. The Friars fall to 2-3-0 on the season.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
•Harvard opened the scoring in the 22nd minute (21:21) when Tim Langenbahn connected on a centering cross from Phoenix Wooten to give the Crimson the 1-0 lead.
• Four minutes later, Dylan Tellado scored (25:01) to make it 2-0 Harvard on assists from Ben Kelly and Xavier Tanyi.
• The Friars had several promising opportunities and were rewarded six corners in the first half.
• Ian Abbey (Elmer, N.J.) recorded five shots in the first half, landing three on goal.
• The Friars outshot Harvard 18-10 with a 7-6 edge in shots on goal overall on the night.
• Providence finished the game with 12 corner kicks, the most in a single game this season.
