Providence College’s Sam Montalto Earns BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Recognition

Montalto recorded two goals over the Friars’ two games last week.
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- It was announced today (Sept. 29) that senior Sam Montalto (Stonington, Conn.) of the Providence College men's soccer team was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Montalto registered two goals in a 1-0-1 week for the Friars, tallying the equalizer in the 90th minute in a 1-1 draw with Brown, as well as scoring a goal in a 3-2 win at Xavier. Montalto is now leading the Friars with six points on the year with two goals and two assists.
UP NEXT
The Friars return home to host Villanova on Friday, Oct. 3 at 3:00 p.m. on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium.
